The NX 09-01-2002, 12:57 PM im new to this forum and i would like to put a gti-r engine in my nissan nx. my question is.. is there two different gti-r engines (one fwd and one awd) or can i put a fwd tranny on the one and only gti-r engine? someone please help. Thanks! djisnx2000 09-01-2002, 08:13 PM The gtir engines only come with awd tranny, but the usdm fwd tranny will bolt to the engine perfectly (well 2 or three bolts won't line up). You'll have to switch +/- on the injectors. You'll have to switch +/- on the tps. The top mount intercooler won't clear the hood (too high). Except mine is a starion intercooler (larger than the BB). I had to cut the lip between the two fog lights. | ||
