I recently had a Sportsman fogger direct port (wet) kit installed on my car. I am running a 125 shot - i have a walbro fuel pump - purge kit, ect.... BTW - my car is a 95 Supra n/a. I know this is a nissan forumm, but i dont seem to get much help on the supraforums. Anyways - All of you guys that are running high hp shots, what progressive Nitrous controllers are you using? NOS makes 3 different styles(time based, throttle positioned, and programable), and i am not sure which to go with....i will not actually USE my nirtous system until i have the controller installed (just a safety precaution). Crane cams makes a digital controller, but it doesnt work on Direct Port setups. All the shops i have talked to tell me to stay away from the Jacobs mastermind too....so i am leaning towards NOS products....Any help would be appreciated. I just want a controller that has sort of a built in window switch with it....and that will allow me to cut nitrous flow before redline. Thanks guys!

Dan--
I was [] this close to going with the NOS progressive (programmable) controller before I went turbo on my SE-R. It does require the purchase of another nitrous solenoid, IIRC.
For really big shots on our cars (100hp +) it would almost be mandatory to keep traction. For your Supra, I think you could get away without it. RWD has its advantages, you know. ;)
The programmable one from NOS appears to 'do it all':
On at X rpm, off at X rpm.
Start % and programmable time-to-100% feature
Those two controls allow you to tune your nitrous hit anyway you see fit, and will REALLY allow you to maximize a nitrous setup to the hilt, IMHO.
NOS makes great products. JMHO.

I have a couple friends who are using the timed base Progressive NOS control. They all love it. I had the pleasure of driving my cousins GSR into the mid 12's. He was shooting 50 out the hole and 5 seconds later another 75 came in. Very impressive is all I have to say.
Like GP said NOS products are very good.

I think people underestimate the effectiveness of some nitrous accessories.
After messing with the stuff for 10 years. There are two things that will put your nitrous powered car on par with turbocharged cars.
Bottle heater
Progressive controller
Unless it's 90 degress out, you need a bottle heater! Otherwise your car will feel sluggish no matter how much your trying to inject into your engine. ALL Nitrous kits are jetted based on 45psi at the fuel rail and at 900psi of bottle pressure. Low bottle pressure causes a rich condition and slows your car down. Not enough rail pressure leans out your system. Too lean and if you're luck you might only burn up some spark plugs.
Progressive controller shouldn't be just looked at as "traction control for nitrous", it allow you to use WAY more nitrous than you could injecting it normally. In most cases you can double your jetting. For 4 cylinder cars with fairly strong connecting rod that means about 100-125hp without fear of hurting anything. If will also allow you to cut great cut 60ft times even on drag radials.
The best controller on the market is made by High Power Nitrous in UK and sold here under the Nitrous Expresss Maximizer. It's the most advanced nitrous control unit on the market. It does soo much it's scary and most people haven't used most if it's fuctions yet because with just basic adjustment, their cars are soo much faster they don't bother with making more adjustments.
IT's that GOOD....
You use less nitrous overall also....
Trust me, just spend a little bit more on your nitrous system and you'll not only go fast in the 1/4 but generate some impressive power numbers on the dyno...
