What I thought sounded like detonation was actually the #4 plug getting killed!

The ground electrode burned off completely when I hit the 125-shot with only pump 93... I'm not sure if the fuel had anything to do with it, but the other 3 were okay. The ground electrodes look a little "fried" (they look like they're getting very very hot,,, usually they have carbon build-up from the rich fuel but now they look like over-heat-treated metal). What do you guys think?

What jets are you running and how much fuel pressure? How much timing are you pulling out?

Well, it's all computer controlled, so the timing is retarded upon opening of the solenoid... I was running an 055 jet.

I'm not sure of the fuel pressure. I have the 370 injectors and the Walbro 255.

Your running a dry system? I have been flow testing nitrous systems this year and have found some poor nitrous to fuel ratios. For some reason I thought you were running a wet system.
