first, white smoke is coolant. NOT running rich. when your car is running rich and burning coolant you will mainly only see dark blue/black smoke.

whats your fuel pressure at? did the shop lube the injector orings?

usually an IACV wont make the car run rich

what HG are you using?

a bad t stat could case the rich condition. if the tstat doest open the ecu will think the car is taken for ever to warm up, thus adding more gas (kinda like using a choke)

just some thoughts to throw out there.

and these problems is the number1 reason i dont go to "shops" anymore.

did you check the t stat? and i had the condition back wards. if the tstat stays OPEN (not closed) it will run rich.

have they checked for an DTC's?

might lead to something like a CTS

Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator (fpr)?

Your factory regulator is not adequate for your big injectors and WILL cause cylinder wash thus frying your rings. Again?

The white smoke sounds like a seperate issue that is not related to running rich.

the owner lied to you. deal with it appropriately, tell him you know he messed and he needs to tear down the motor and rebuild it and make it run right or you will get a lawyer involved, and goto the bureau of automotive repair and get them involved.

white smoke can mean that there is condensation in the motor from when it was torn down, maybe it needs to be burned off, but in most cases (98%) it means that there is coolant going into the combustion chamber.

when it is smoking white is there a sweet smell to it? if so its coolant
