My air bag light is blinking and i don't know why. Anyone know how to trouble shoot this or find the source of the problem without blowing the bags? I need to get this fixed before they blow one day while i'm driving down the freeway. Any hel would be greatly appreciated.

More than likely your Air Bag Controller is bad. In the 200SX's, it's mounted under the rear part of the center console. Not sure of the location in your car, but am guessing it's in the same spot.
Definitely get it checked, but I'm 100% sure that's your problem.

Anyone have one for sale? I want to avoid the dealer just because they're way too exspensive.

yeah, it's the air bag control module. mine went bad too. the dealer replaced mine under warrenty. The dealer might have to replace it as it's a safety item... you might want to call some dealer and check.

Was your light blinking or just staying on?

You should go to a dealer and have your airbag light reset. A voltage spike from your alternator or any type of voltage spike could cause this light to come on. Most of the cars we see with this light on, we reset the light and that fixes the problem. At the time of resetting this light the dealer will know if the control unit is needed.
And for your worry about the airbags deploying while driving; should not be a concern because, when the airbag light is blinking the airbag system is disabled.
