75 shot at the track

So after running a 55shot last year (wet) i thought i go to a bigger 75 shot(wet). found at the track that wow there is way to much fuel. i have a wideband and it was reading 10.7,
So tried to reduce more fuel and bring it back to at least 12.5 - 12.7 that range there.
Last year ran a 14.4 on 55 this year i dont think i will break that. Just to much fuel.... lol

i just used the apexi and i raised it to 12.7 all day, i ran a 14.152 @ 102mph, 60ft 2.6s, i had nasty traction issues, spun right threw 2nd with slow launches just riding the clutch out, i know i could have been in the 13s if i had tires.... or more power lol,

10lb bottle with 75 shot lasted me 19 runs..... so much fun

cheers

hey

my car is sr20ve h/i/e, thermo spacers, timming 5deg (when spraying), and apexi vsf, calum basic (with ve setup), the nos set up is a zex 75 shot wet with smart box, bottle heater and purge, and gauge. fpr and gauge set to 3.5bar.

like how big shot u running and what ur goals?

i found when i did my first few runs my fuel was to much like 10.7:1 so i use the apexi to lean it out to 12.5-13. the car pulled hard. I am using the smart box its uses the tps voltage to activate when full throttle. I like this system because i just program the box and go.

well i have a sr20de lowport 200sx ser...i have fuel pump,bc cams i was looking to install to help me get at the 200hp mark with spray...i know that timing needs to retarded when spraying but not sure how to do that? am i going to have to retard the timing everytime i spray or is there an ecu program to take care of that?

i have the same setup on my sr20de and i cant wait to spray it! i like the zex box with the full throttle sensor. its just a pain to have to turn it on in 2nd at the right rpm and whatnot. im starting with a 50 shot and moving up to 75 once it get everything straightened out. im going to be using my apexi S-afc to tune my fuel.

leave your timing at base timing,i thinks its 15 degrees on the calum basic for ve,might be lower but anyway 5 degrees is to low for 75 shot, when i ran a 75 shot on me de felt a whole world of a difference at 15 degrees compared to following the instructions and retarding it to 13 degrees.i know its for saftey but just make you got a step colder plugs, fuel pressure bumped up if needed and just check the plugs for detonation after every run,you will feel a big difference

^^X2 I lowered mine to like 11 for a 75 and it felt like shit, then I bumped up a little and the difference its quite noticeable.

What are you revving your car out to with the VE and nitrous? I plan to run the same setup, except with n1 cams.
