I have read every thread I could find about this but have not found an answer yet. I just put a NX digital cluster in my 98 SER auto. The cluster came out of a 91 NX five speed. Anyone know which speed sensor I need? As of right now everything works but the speed is about double what it should be.

i seem to recall someone on here did this with a butt load of rewiring done by a shop.

I already did the swap but the speedo is reading about half of what I am actually going. I just need to figure out which speedo sensor I need. I think I need the 91 5 speed since that is what the cluster came out of.

Yep that would be a handy tool if my car had a speedo cable that I had to deal with. Unfortunately the 98 came with an electric speedo sensor that is not reading right. Was just curious if anyone had ever done this into a car that already had an electric sensor, just the wrong one.

IIRC you're looking for the yellow one. you have to manually run a wire from it to the dash. pain in the ass. ask DC scotty on the other forum. he did it before in another project.
