We are proud to introduce our line of head studs and main studs for the SR. We have to come to realize that the engagement on the ARP off the shelf ones dont thread into the block completely and not bottoming out so it does not giving enough grab. So with these we developed will be the correct length and actually stronger and better material. We estimate an easy 600hp capability.

Made from ARP2000 material
12 point
220ksi tensile strength
Straight shank/bullet ends from complete bottom out
Comes with (10) studs, (10) washers, (10) nuts (1) assembly lubricant and instructions.

As of right now, we are also expecting the main studs to clear WITHOUT machining the upper oil pan for clearance but that will be confirmed later.

We are going to start a group buy on these now, our expected delivery time on these studs is about 6 weeks.

we have been having problems with the old ARP SR20 head studs with a few of our customer cars so we use GTiR head studs the 12mm standard items and we havent had a problem with them where as the ARP ones give us problems

its good to see some one out there doing some thing about this

Do you have an app for the gtir? My motor build is for high hores and I dont want to have this be a problem. Most likely you dont since it has a 12mm stud, but maybe you can do some custom ones. I have your 90mm head gasket . If you dont mind can you give me Vans number?

are these std size? ie i dont need to redrill?

I'll definitely take the head studs. unsure if i want/need the main studs. planning on about a 500hp build. 20ve+t with gt 35r and sr16 cams.

i'll probably order valve springs, maybe retainers if i can justify them, and guides too but

Suggested to use main studs but its entirely up to you. We use main studs on our 400hp builds. Its just a safe piece of mind.
