Hi. I've found out that my sr16ve ecu is not enough for my VZ-R.

The setup is:
sr20ve
sr16ve ecu
sr16ve maf
sr16ve inj
jn15 chassis
sr16ve n1 camshafts
bc s/r
walbro 255
nismo cold thermostat

goal is:
fine tune up to 9k

Ive found out that there is a daughterboard for the jn15

are there any roms/editors for the sr20ve ecus (sr16ve) nor sr20de ecu.
can such bins change cam switch points?

ACTUALLY we are now tuning the sr16ve ecu.

no we have never dyno on the sr16ve ecu. but the problem is, that the engine consumes a lot of gas and does not do enough performance.

SR16/20VE maf, injectors, dizzy are the same.
Ecu is different though, you should know what you have.

Have a look on these threads:

If you require extra help or services contact member bill (http://www.sr20forum.com/members/bill.html)

Everything on the VE ecus can be altered including the points.

I suppose you could ask the guy you bought the board from.

Tuners who do this as a living would be out of business if they told you what to do.

I believe custom bin files can be sold though.

Yep i believe he is correct you need to get a bin file to upload to the chip.

we have installed the daughterboard. we used the n1 fuel and timing maps made by src.

1. problem - the check engine always lights
2. vvl does not activates. ve havemade it always engaged with the manual switch. so we made 15.2 on the 16" rims 205 50 r16 with the bad launch. on the road wheels. now it rews to 9000. but still a lot of questions.
