Going price for B13 LSD trannies are about $250 shipped. Something less then that. I've bought 1 before for $100. I'd like something close to 53711 that I can pick up and it's around $100-$150. It's for a car I'm not planning to keep. Just as long as the tranny is in good working condition.

Well, that's what I sold my last B13 LSD tranny for. It was in PERFECT working order. And, awhile back. I bought a local 1 for $100.

How bad is the 5th gear grind?

Pretty bad. Take 2-3 times to engage the gear, sometimes. Sometimes it goes in fine.
