I have a question for those of you guys who have cages in your SE-R (b13).

How far from the floor are your harness bars mounted/welded to your cages? I ask because I have a autopower roll-bar that doesn't have a harness bar, and I want to get one welded on.

I have one more question for you guys regarding bushings.

Do the Whiteline caster bushings provide any additional caster to those with Ground Control camber plates, and is their hardness/density any better than that of the Energy Suspension bushings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should just put your seat in the car and measure up about 6" from the harness holes. That should put the bar in the right place. The important thing is for your harnesses to pull you into the seat and not push down on your shoulders. The installation instructions will have an angle for the harness to from your shoulders to the bar.

The caster bushing come in 2-4 different hardness levels and they are all harder than the ES bushing material. I think that the ES stuff is Poly and the caster bushing is delrin.

They will provide some additional caster over what you will get with the caster/camber plates but I don't know how much because I have never tried to measure it. I max my caster out with the plates and leave it.

Also, if you max out your camber with the CC plates, you generally have little to no adjustment for caster.

What he meant was that he agreed with my suggestion to mount your seat first and then measure the place to put your harness bar based on the recommended angle for harness installation.
