Finally get my car back together and running great, but about about 10 miles, car starts dying.
Figure out battery is dead. With help from strangers, girlfriend and 2 cops. I get it charged up enough to make it home.

Charging light is not on, but battery isnt getting charged.

Question is: when i was filling up the coolant, and it spilled on to the alty would that hurt it? (im sure ive done it before and it didnt hurt it)

My alty should be under warranty still so I shouldnt be down for long, but this is aggravating...

yeah,the coolant coud mess it up.
I used degreaser on a known good one once and killed it.

I've gotten B13/14 alternators wet a bunch of times without issue..... except for one time, which killed one. So now I'm extremely careful around them.

I just cleaned up the harness grounds, and put it back on, So once the battery charges again, im going to :crossfingers and drive to advance to get them to test my alty. If it checks out good, yay! if not , i hope they have one in stock, *** ill take it off right there and give it to them *** its under warranty....
