I will be buying a 2nd SE-R to add to my collection shortly. Do classics have power windows or locks? If not can they be put in? This is basicly what will decide if I get another 200sx or classic. I'm too lazy to roll down manually. :D

Sorry but the classic never came with power windows or locks. You can put them in easy enough. There was a thread on it a while back. Get the classic you'll love it;)

And that he did. Did an awesome job, too. I believe that certain B13 Sentra's did come with power windows (like Special Edition ones?). I don't know, ask Fast91SER. He's the one who did it.

I did both, power windows, and power door locks...you can call me the Mr. Power Classic man :D

I got my power window motors from a Limited Edition B13. All you need is the motors, I got the window guide too, but it didnt even bolt up right.

They wont go right in, some modifications need to be made using a Dremel tool. If you need to know more, let me know, and I will go into detail of what needs to be done.

How difficult was it to install the power locks? Were they the general actuators you can get from stereo stores, or were they also out of a LE? I can live w/o the windows, but locks would be nice.

Thanks,

Josh

Josh, the power door locks I had a stereo shop do for me a few years ago, $50 a door. They are just a regular power door actuator connected to the alarm, and the little rods that lock and unlock the door. Its probably not too hard to do by yourself, but at that time, I didnt want to try and find out :D

Yeah, so next time you see a hot chick and you wanna talk to her, reach over to roll the window down. I'll just press my window button ;)

Say what you want, they are very convenient, and one of the best mods I've done to my car.

i have put power windows in 3 different cars and power locks on 2 of them. i got universal kits from ebay and have not had any problems with them. lock kit was like $40 and the windows were like $110. very easy to install and come with instructions, if you decide to go that route.

I thought manly men use manual steering, and sissies use power assist. ?? I never heard the one about the windows. I do agree, I think you look alot smoother if you use power windows.

A friend of mine used 240sx power lock actuators. Worked real good. There is a place near me that sells the JDM doors with power locks n windows already in just bolt on the doors n plug them where the stock plugs go and TADA! I think they are 100$/PER door...
