Fellas, when I try to purchase an aftermarket radiator for the NX2000, they state that they are all the same models, 1.6, 2.0, NX. I know that the NX2000 radiator is 1" thick and SE-R was 5/8" thick.

So, where can I guarrentee a place to sell me the correct radiator that is the 1" thick unit? anybody have a part # they bought one recently or a dealer?

I have tried courtesy and it seems that the diagram states a bunch of parts, tanks, center is not shown. the whole unit is not shown to purchase either.

Any help is welcome.

Great price, fast shipping, and make sure to call and confirm the 1inch issue.

Make sure you focus on the inlet/outlet of the radiator as well. It can be 3" thick, but it might have a 1" inlet/outlet diameter.

Rockauto may have the 1" thick radiator, but the inlet/outlet will be 1" unlike the 1-3/8 size of the 2.0L's. I know my way around radiators and I have searched low and high on this matter. That is what they told me unless it has changed in the past month.

I found units on www.radiatorexpress.com : For 2.0 NX, 1.6 and 2.0

Core size: 12- 7/16 x 25- 7/16 x 1 5/16" for 169.95 (its all alluminum)

Core size: 12- 7/16 x 25 7/16 x 1" 107. 80. OEM style (plastic tank)

this one fits the 1.6 and 2.0. for 107.80

then there is a 12 9/6 x 25 7/16 x 7/8" thick

this was all alluminum replacement for 2.0 for 159.95

I would think the 1 5/16" thick unit would be the best correct? for NX2000

^Been there done that. Call before you order. Last time I went through them they had to send me a refund. Radiator size was wrong from description. It took a month for them to refund me my money. What a hassle.

Yikes!! who should I go through then? maybe I will contact my local guys then first.

^If you want aftermarket, I say post an add in the WANTED section for a KOYO radiator and you will have to be patient.

KOYO Part# r1977 is what you want for the 91-99 SE-R's with the 1-3/8" inlet/outlet.
KOYO Part# r1440 is for the NON SE-R's and it has the 1" inlet/outlet just so you know the difference. A lot of people use this one SE-R's and you can get away with it, but I chose to go with the r1977 since they are the same price. You will just have to sleeve the r1440 and that is something I didn't want to deal with.

Thanks, I called Napa and carquest and they give me 5/8" width on the core. The napa being 92 bucks and the carquest being 115.23.

And that was listed for the NX2000!!! man. I think they got that wrong. at least the website listed the units.

I kind of needed one now because I punctured mine.

I will post one up for the koyo though in case someone has one now.
