alright you tidewater area slackers (any other mid atlantic kids too) ... I am gone for a while starting october 5th which means that we need to all get together and do something before then. Preferably we should all ride up to dinwittie and run together. It could be a nissan onslaught. They wouldnt know what hit them. Im thinking either the weekend of the 20th or perhaps the weekend of the 27th. Anyone interested???? come on guys, it will be a blast. THe weather is starting to cool down which is a recipe for good timeslips!!!!

20th works, my friend with the mr2 spyder will be in town also that weekend so he'll prolly run too. Im pretty sure i can talk sterling and steve into it. So far thats 3 for sure and probably 5, now we just need a few more local kids and we are good to go.

yeah, its just a quarter mile track with the standard breakdowns (60', 1/8 mile, and 1/4 mile times). Heres the link to the webpage... There is a bike rally the 21st so there may be a lot of bikes running test and tune that night. But it looks like a regular street wars/ bracket night on the 20th so we should be good. I refuse to go on those import nights, the lines are ridiculous and i like to run brackets anyways cause they never give priority to the import line like they say they will.

sweet, you guys have done well. As of now there are 6 of us going... and maybe a silvia. You will have to line up against it steve. we'll have to wait and see if its running right by then but things are looking good. Im stoked, last time we had a big turnout it was a blast. I'll be pissed if it rains. By the way, im thinking about doing some weight reduction... what about you guys????

I would love to see the Silvia run. I would hate to see something happen on his first outing. I don't think it will be much of a contest with his rear wheel driver and all. Do you think he will dyno it first? I am hoping for better then 14.5 if I can just learn how to drive. I would think that he should be good for low 14's high 13's depending on boost level. As far as weight reduction I am going to do a little. Last time I ran with everything in the car. This time I will take tire/jack and anything that is not bolted down out. I may get more serious about it (strut bars, emisions crap that is no longer hooked up, etc) but that seems unlikely.

I still need to see that beauty of your car...steve. I am still looking around for some motor ideas, but I would love to take a look at yours. We should meet soon. I am going to go to Langley in 2 weeks!
