Does anyone here use the WOT switch for their nitrous engagement anymore? I have the NOS wet kit, and i cant find a place to bolt the bracket near the throttle body. Does anyone have any pics of how you mounted your switch?? .............Ive got a 98 lowport btw.
Should i not even bother with that switch and just use a button inside the cabin to engage the nitrous? any tips would be helpful, thanks

I actually mounted mine beneath the throttle pedal. I'm not sure about the newer models but on B13's there is a small tab mounted below the gas pedal, so I just mounted my switch to it. Works great, but I have no pics.

Personally I always thought a button was a PITA vs. WOT switch since all you have to do is floor it at that point. You just need it near something that has a tps signal right?

No, the tps signal is only for drive by wire throttle bodies......the WOT switch is a manual switch that has to get clicked by the throttle body at WOT. Got no convenient place to mount the damn thing.

I found a button to be annoying. I really only drive my car hard at the drag strip, and it's a bit much to handle just driving normal, without having to push a button. I used the button back when my car was an auto, much slower, and easier to drive.

SCrew that wot switch, just buy a tps activation switch. All you have to do it tap the signal wire and your done. Now once you hit 4.3x or whatever wot is set on your tps your car will spray, then once you let off the nitrous stops spraying. Very simple!
