Hey calum. I'm ready to buy a v2 b14 ecu. Any idea on the wait to get one done?

Yeah I was curious about the difference also.

IIRC, the v2 uses more of the ECUs free memory, so extra features, like VVL activation can be programmed, and thus eliminating the need of external controllers. Amirite?

^You are touching the base of what he went over at the convention. Our ECU's have a lot of free memory that is just chilling, just waiting to be used.

So does this mean it's gonna be able to have launch control on the B14 now? Or did he ever figure that out for the original version on them?

^At the convention, I believe he said he was still working on it. He did his explaining and I learned a lot from it. He really wanted feedback from us to see what we were looking to get out of tuning our cars. Must people want to have capabilities like honda.

You should do a write-up on that particular conversation, for everyone who wasn't at that convention :P.
