I swear I saw a post somewhere mentioning what tool to use. I found these but need a suggestion on a tool to crimp engine harness wire. http://whiteproducts.com/pro_crimpers.shtml

Soldering has worked OK for me but I want to get a nice crimp tool and speed things up a bit.

That's the one I was thinking of, I remember the Greenlee name. What terminals do you use?

Thanks.

That one looks really nice! If I could justify the price and need for the tool, then I'd get it.

This is the wire stripper/crimper that I recently bought. So smooth, I love it:

I picked up on similar to that Greenlee from Harbor Freight for ~$12 after coupon.

I like it, but it only does insulated connectors. I actually prefer using uninsulated connectors then running heat shrink over them instead of insulated connectors.

You can have the best of both worlds, Crimping and shrink wrapping in one.

They sell insulated connectors that shrink wrap the ends. They are classified as weatehr proof/waterproof connectors. Thay can be pricey but are welll worth it.
