This is for the MSD 6AL-2 with built in two step.:)

So trying to finish up the 2 step install tomorrow. I am just kind of stumped on some stuff. Wondering if some of you guys can chime in so I don't do something stupid.:tongue:

1) What is the color of the tach output? I am guessing this is located coming off of the distributor.

2)There is a white/blue wire for the "Hall-Effect Pickup". I have no clue what this is.

3)There is also a green/violet wire. This says "Magnetic Pickup". Says this is also in the distributor or crank trigger.

It mentions that the Hall-Effect Pickup and the Magnetic Pickup should not be wired up at the same time. I am just curious as to which to use.

The rest is the obvious. I figured I will try to wrap this up tomorrow and take pics as I go so I can do a detailed write for anyone who is doing this in the future. Any tips, info, and guidance is appreciated.

Also, I know guys are using the E-Brake as a switch. Obviously when the brake is up for pre-loading, the 2-step is activated. They mention to use a relay. Any specific relay I should be looking for?
