Tonight I sucked water into my engine from f&%king T.S Eduard. So we took out the plugs, and it seemed that all the water was sitting on top of the pistons, but woulnd't crank over bc of it. Well thinking that either it was fucked or the water was indeed sitting on top I cranked the engine spitting out almost all the water that was in there which was quite a bit, we then preceeded to put the plugs back in once the water stoped spitting out and with luck the car started with white smoke pouring out the exhaust but then the smoke disappeared. Anyways I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere around here that does a good engine diagnostic?

Thanks,
Brad

If it fired back up and you didn't have any ugly noises then you were probably going slow enough that the engine just stalled out when it couldn't compress the water. Hopefully nothing's wrong but you'll want to get a compression test done just to find out. You can do that yourself if you want. It's not hard and is pretty well documented on the web.

Did you do an oil change along with that spark plug change? You'll probably find some water in among the oil. I'd dump a few quarts through the engine to try and flush out any extra water.

When this happened to me awhile back, I drained my oil, flushed a few quarts through... finished changing my oil, and then changed it again a week later just to make sure.
