I recently Purchased a used cluster from the junkyard. I want to install a 95 200sx se B14 1.6 with Tach on my 92 B13 1.6. My sentra currently doesnt have tach.

Ive done some research on the how-to sections. Looks like a lot of work though. Ive also noticed that the back of the tachs look way different from mines (pictured above).
Im confused on how to go in this set-up.

In the absence of a write up you could do it the hard way. Find all the functions of the wires in your current cluster, label them individually if you have to. Then take a look at the B14 cluster circuit board. Find the functions of each position in the wire harness. After that it's a simple matter of plugging the individual wires from your car into their appropriate positions in the B14 cluster harness. Be prepared to make diagrams.
Edit: Actually it won't work. 91-92 had different speed sensors.

The hardway doesn't so bad. I'll probably get frustrated tryin to figure out what goes to what. But then you said in your edit that its not gonna work. Ohh well. I guess ill put it up for sale n get me the lil sunpro mini tach.
Did any 1.6 powered B13 come with a tach?!

It's worth some junkyard hopping if you can find a 91-92 4 dr GXE. They can be somewhat rare but I've seen many on the road here in BC and have seen at least a couple during my own junkyard treasure hunts. Those clusters will work. Or you could look into swapping the speed sensor.

Since now I know what b13 to look for, its gonna be a tough mission to find it. I had no luck finding one last weekend when they had 50% memorial weekend sale.
How difficult is it to swap out the speed sensor?
Thanks kioh & ulysses for the help. I appreciated :-)

I went to pick-your-part today in search of a b13 gxe cluster and guess what. I hit the jackpot and found one.
Since I saved my receipt from when I bought a b14 clster 2 weeks ago. I did an even exchange. I payed nothing out of my pocket.
its from a b13 92 sentra gxe 4 door. I wrote down the vin# and did a free carfax report.
heres' the pics

You didn't by chance keep the pigtails from the back of the B14 cluster?

no plug and play. i leaned this the hard way. you have to open each pin connector and match them up to the one on the new gauges pigtail. the wires go to the same place, they are just in different positions in the connectors.
check out this thread. helped me get my cluster installed.
