Wassup guys. Im needing to replace my cap and rotor for my w10 avenir and i was wondering if i can buy it at AUTOZONE. I purchase a sr20 cap and rotor from a 1993 sentra 2.0 but it didnt fit.

Is there another model i should buy like a 200sx or a newer sentra like 98 2.0 or a infinity G20 or is it a dealer part.. If so a dealer part does anybody got a part number.

You're using an OBDII distributor? Chances are you just need a 95-97 200sx se-r cap and rotor.....

Will go ASAP to autozone and ask for that model ( 200sx ) for the cap and rotor.. I hope it works because im needing one bad. Mines is all WORN out from the inside..

okay i purchased the cap and rotor from a 97 nissan 200sx 2.0 from a auto zone for my Avenir motor and the ROTOR didnt fit.

The CAP Fit with no problem but the rotor didnt :( Wont GO IN

Does anybody know what make and model of a nissan can i purchased a ROTOR to fit the NISSAN AVENIR sr20det motor..

You should be using the distributor from the car you're putting the engine in. At that point, you should be able to just buy the cap and rotor that fit that distributor.

The motor that i had before was a 1.6 nissan sentra motor.

It was a 1.6 motor in my 1993 sentra but now its a 2.0 sr20det avenir motor in my 1993 sentra and i was told you cant use the 1.6 distrubutor .

You need to use a b13 se-r distributor and an b13 se-r wiring harness. Then get a cap and rotor for a b13 se-r and you'll be all set.

:squint: ANY body else ,, thats not the answer i was looking for because it dosent make any sense that i have to change out the WHOLE distrubutor from my avenir to a USDM distrubutor because the ROTOR dosent fit:squint:

The cap fits of a 97 200sx on my avenir motor but the rotor dosent . Im more than POSITIVE theres another nissan rotor that fits the avenir distrubutor ..

No USDM distributor rotor fits the W10 distributor ;)

You could take the part number off the old rotor and source it that way ;)
