So Mike finally finished the project started long ago (installing the OMP race seat into the Infiniti G20 track beastie)

Its just priceless that we put this expensive seat into the car (kinda made us chuckle). So the most expensive components of the car are:

AMR Suspension- $975
OMP Race Seat - $900
OMP alm mounts- $150
Body/shell -$500
Engine -$500
Tranny -$850 (complete rebuild w/5th gear popout b13 tranny)
race wheels/tires-$900+

+ the misc other expenses like power steering cooler, altima non-abs master brake cyl, momo comp steering wheel, radiator, axles, hoses, SS lines, aluminum crossmember solid mounts, + more (too much to list)

The car will run TTF and/or TTE this year with NASA time trials (it only got to run one track once last year and set the NASA record for TTF so we are hoping for more TTF records if all goes according to plan!) We might end up running TTE so we can try for Hoosier and Hawk contingency winnings!

Anyway, here are some pics:

did you happen to take any pictures of the brackets before you put them on the seat?

does the seat sit pretty high now? i want sliders on my seat so other people can drive it, but adding sliders prohibits me from getting the seat low enough for me to like it

the seat sits almost the same exact height as the stock seat did (maybe only 3-5mm lower) and no, I did not take any pics BEFORE installing it (sorry)

Make sure to upgrade the sheetmetal mounts when you get serious. It doesn't take much to shear those spotwelds...
