i think its a wheel bearing, but... when im going strait i can hear the slight annoying grinding sound, but when im turning the sound is gone! any ideas? if it is a wheel bearing can i like take it out and clean it and regrease it? or replace it? ($$??)

also... i just jacked the car up and spun the tire with my hands, it is kinda hard to spin, and i can hear the grinding noise again... almost like the break is on?

im thinking it is! i showed my friend and he said the same thing happened to him, and he bent the metal back a little and it went away... it sounds like that kind of noise too! i hope it is!

ok i just went and jacked it up, pulled on the backing plate and spun the wheel... no more noise!! yay!!! so i bent it back a little and its perfect now! im glad it was free! lol :D
