This may not make a hesitation disappear, but it might help the problem. Don't overtighten it as it will leave your throttle partially open at idle. You want just enough slack so the throttle plate stays closed at idle.

My car is having some hesitation problems, but this helped it out some. The problem isn't gone, but it is much better now.
