installed both an exhaust and header system, car pulls much harder in the midrange.. even with the armor coat, and BS shipping from NOPI it came out to $400 for both.. not too bad

looks too nice in my dirty engine bay.. hahaha...
oh the tip is recessed a bit since I chopped off the yellow tip from PS..

DAMN! that armor coat looks nice as hell, i had never seen it before, but still I dont think its worth the extra $$, $152 shipped was too cheap to pass up. I got my black painted header today from NOPI, took 1 week from when i ordered it, and im in the process of stripping it down and painting it high temp silver. Hopefully this PS header will be as potent as my last, with my new exhaust and a custom CAI, 14s should be easy again.

You might want to get an extension on that muffler pipe where the tip was. If not, you will melt your bumper. Don't ask how I know:rolleyes:

BTW---are you gusy getting these things from Nopi for $152? How much was the Armor coated version? What's the benefit? I would never see salt or rain in mine so I guess the normal black version would be fine, correct?

Easy. Call them up and tell them what you want. If they say they have none, tell them to call PS while you hold. PS has a bunch in stock right now. They'll charge you $152 shipped. You'll get it in 7 business days. Simple!

The Armor Coating does look pretty good considering it came from PS. Let us know what the long term looks if it is.

BTW, That engine bay is screaming Degreaser!:p

Add me to the list of satified customers... Got mine from Summit Racing for 160 and it got to my house in 3 days =)

No issues on fitment, only problem I had was reinstalling the EGR fitting, for some reaon it wouldn't bend the right way... mine wont screw in all the way.... and I need to find a plug or weld the AVI hole.

Anyway I'm satified with the quality of the product... Now I need to take it out on the highway tomorrow =)

Oh yeah I just threw it on with the black paint and all, no dressing it up for me since I'm going turbo soon, just needed a header asap...

well, ran it last night and gained a solid 3mph in the 1/4mile!!! To be fair I did have an exhaust leak previously and the O2 sensor was changed as well(does the O2 read at WOT??).. too bad I ran a 15.9@88.7mph with a 2.6 60ft... I think my alignment is waay off now since the H&Rs.. i used to hit 2.4 with these same crap-ass falkens

oh, also the H&Rs claim 1.3inch drop on the B13, but its definately more than that.. closer to 1.7.. anyone else notice this?? at least i havent bottomed out yet.. whew

the header still looks great for now.. and yes engine degreaser is in the future somewhere.. hahaha

Anybody know the size of the PS cat-back? [Edit: Nevermind, it's advertised as 2.25".] Just curious. I think that adding a nice, subtle tip should be no challenge at all for any competent muffler shop. Glad y'all are so happy! :D

...seriously reconsidering a PS header...

Just dont be lazy like me, strip off all that paint and recoat it with high temp paint...

I hope it's cause of the holiday, but I still don't have my header I ordered last Thursday. I called wed. to order from nopi and the guy said they won't be in till Sept. 15. I called thursday and said some of you got them and another guy insisted that it would be 2-3 weeks. now I see two more people that got them. I'm pissed.

I'll have to remember that, mine looks like this:

But also looks like this, so melt away, at least until I get my new bumper cover put on.

Well I got mine today, but not before I called to find out where it was and they said they never had an order from me. So I ordered it today to find it on my porch when I got home. apparently Eric and Erick are 2 different people even though we have the same address.

Okay so, chizneck the spiznecks:
$145 - Pacesetter Header
+ 30 - J.C. Whitney Exhaust Flex Section
+ 30 - No-name 2-to-1 Collector w/Smaller Neck
+165 - SwainTech White Lightning Header Coating
$370 - Total Parts Cost.
Welding and shipping aside, this is a very attractive alternative to buying a HS or Stillen header. Sure, it takes more time, and it's a lot of work, but it's not that expensive, and if you know your welder, you know it's done right. I'll sleep better tonight knowing the above prices. ;)

Why do you want the flex exhaust section?
