does anybody know if the sway bars on an NX1600 are the same as the NX2000 and SE-R? I always thought the 1600 sway bars were the same as the sentra xe/gxe but my friend was saying they are the bigger ones. He is thinking of upgrading his suspension, and if anybody knows if the size is differrent, please post it!
thanks,
Jeff

1600 and 2000 bars are different but the same for the NX and SE-R. Makes sense? If he is getting the Suspension Techniques kit it makes no difference.

yeah, thats what i thought, I told him to upgrade his 1600 sway bars wtih 2000/SER bars, but he was of the impression that all NX sway bars are the same. Guess they are different after all. Thanks
PS anybody actually dont this swap yet or have first hand experience?

i do......the front swaybars are the same between the 2, but the 2000's rear swaybar is bigger, also there is a big difference in weight and thicknes from the factory to the ST ones.
you can only really tell the difference when you take fast harder turns, but there is a difference, a much stiffer difference. really, the only people that get a good gain from the ST ones are autoxers.
but they CAN benefit if you want to feel more confident when taking a faster turn at an intersection, as long as you got good shocks and springs to back them up.

Actually, I think the 1600 front bar is slightly bigger than the 2000's. I'll get the actual sizes tomorrow sometime, but I know I that is what it says in the Nissan Motorsports Cat as the stock replacements, because I was wondering if anybody ever put a 1600 bar on a 2000. Sounds crazy, but it makes sense, since the bigger front bar + the smaller rear bar would make the car understeer like crazy.

i think your right about that, im starting to remember something funny about the fronts someone was telling me about, if they are different, there isnt much that you can tell by looking at them like you can the rears. but there was small difference that was made, i forget why though...

A while ago there was a rumor that whiteline had a RSTB for our cars, i emailed them and got no respones. Anyone know if they have one or not? I want one and was about 2 hours too late to get the motivational one
