On a 1992 240sx without tuning? I'm passing smog so it isnt a total disaster but I may be running richer at idle. I could see the ecu not fully adapting to the new injector size especially during idle where the O2 sensor is ignored.
Does the ecu even have a clue what air fuel ratio is during idle?

you need to tune your ecu to run bigger injectors.

and yes your ecu knows what your a/f is during idle

thanks. how does it know since the o2 sensor is ignored during idle(with good reason since it is too cool to give accurate reading).

yes, i liked to ask this question too.

My engine is SR18de, but I rebored to 2000cc with highcams, is it ok to put 370cc injectors into it first, then tune later (after 1 month)

yeah i know, gonna get a Greddy Emanage to tune it, but is it ok I put bigger injectors first ? can my ecu runs 370cc injectors temporaly ? any defects ?

thanks

no you cant dude you need to have the ecu plugged into your car to actually run bigger injectors,

defects if you choose to run them is your ride wont work.. simple

Since when is the O2 sensor ignored at idle? Thats when its most active to keep mixtures at around 14.7:1 under closed loop ;)

Open loop is where you would have a MAJOR problem with this setup working
