that goes against everything i know and love, at least hes using the correct engine and drive train set up.

That is serious. Completely unexpected and unique. Not only that, if I couldn't find a clean S13 chassis, and I had the talent. I'd do something like this as well. Sorta like the guy on the Dash who is making an DET powered RX-8.
