yea i raced last night, was the worst night of racing ive been to in a while.....there were sooo many breakdowns, I didnt get my first run until 8pm!! Then on my first run i had my nitrous mishap =/ Missed third and nitrous engaged, with tb closed, then POP!! blew my intake right off.....so I wont be there tomorrow. Maybe in couple weeks. Def my worst night of racing ever! Ian ill try and make it just to watch tomorrow.

Thats why i hate going Wednesday and Sundays. To much BS usually. If it's not the tech guys busting your balls about everything it's the constant break downs. I've also had days that even after getting there by 5:15 i don't get my first run in till almost 8. And then they try to hot lap you so you can get 3 runs in. Meanwhile my engines sitting over 210*. Sux about your mishap. NO2 rules, but it is tricky.

If ya head down just look for my G20 or my brothers black '99 Grand Prix GTP. He might have his Evo there also.

yea ill do my best to make it man....think i might have a messed up valve from the no2 explosion. Possibly a new worked over head in the near future =/ ...... let me know how you do tonight, Ill see if i can get the video of my run up here lol

I'm down for a meet anytime anywhere...:iagree:...Lastnight blew. I got there at 5. Waited till 6 for my brother to show. There was ***** there till after 6. I coulda gotten 5 runs in before 6 if i wanted. Was 80* and 85%+ humidity as we waited for the rain to start. Got 2 runs in before 3 drops fell from the sky and they halted racing to see if it was gonna actually rain. 20 mins later it started so we bolted. Lack of being able to do anything with 1st gear kills me. Any form of boost at launch lights up the tires. And as soon as it builds any boost in 1st it just lights the tires. So i'm stuck bogging it off the line as to not spin just so i start spinning to redline 3 seconds after i launch. Then i'm shifting into 2nd at a low ass RPM.

And yes i know slicks of any sort would help. But i'm not looking to break anything. Tis my daily driver after all. And i've always raced my cars as i drive em.

My car was hurting lastnight thanks to the nasty air. I was off by 2-3 MPH. And my lackluster 1st gear attempts didn't help any. My reaction times weren't bad though.

2nd run was a hot lap. Came back around and they sent us again. So it was rather warm by that point. The 2.473 60 foot time might be my worst 60' ever after 17 years of drag racing.

Yea im hesitant to really get on my car at the races as well, its my daily driver too, i know how you feel. Well Ill be going back sometime soon, I want to experiment with my car and see how much damage i really did, so far so good though. Will let you know when I get back to the track......and as for the meet, looks like there will be one soon :)
