I don't know if you guys (and gals) read Grassroots Motorsports but the August 2009 issue features our '91 SE-R (pages 57-63) and mentions a lot of the SR20forum/Nissan supporters, G Spec Performance, Jim Wolf Technology, NISsport, Phase2motortrend (Circuit Sports), Nissan Motorsports, ST Suspensions and I/O Port Racing supplies. The article came out great and really captured the spirit of the SE-R.
Additionally, Speed Sport Life did at Time Attack story which features the same car:

Nissan Sport Magazine is supposed to run a story on the car in their Fall 2009 issue, if you are a fan of that magazine as well, check it out.
And our site www.RacingWFO.com has the entire history of the car documented.
Thanks again to all of the folks who posted great technical information here, it has been incredibly helpful.
Take care.

I saw these guys go through tech at Infineon Raceway and run the car in PTF (and win). We were running PTE, and they passed us during the race. Even though, their car was legit. I saw the mods listed in GRM but after watching them I think they swap parts like crazy depending on which event they are running with the car.
There is a post on Speed Sport Life where they ran the car at Laguna Seca in the Redline Time Attack finale for street car class. There they cobbled together mismatched wrecking yard interior parts just to stay within the class rules. It was pretty funny looking.
Here's the Speed Sport Life "Racer Boy" blog on it:

This year the rules changed.. no way the car could pass this year with the power to weight ratio IMHO regardless of things removed unless someone added a lot of weight ballasts to stay legal in PTF (which I suppose is always a possibility)

Funny I hear the same comments from some very good 24 hrs LeMons racers, who I respect their techincal saavy and opinions quite a lot - "nfw that car is legal here in _____". After awhile you really have to wonder.

have to wonder what?
people have 'cheated' and bend the rules all the time...
Hell, I know of a 2003 miata running Time Trial F here in the midwest (and I have yet to know how it is legal this year with power to weight ratio scale but it seems more about who you know and who you are -- then again, no one probably cares much since almost no one else competes against him so he gets to win and set track records by default in the midwest region!)

Do we need to start a new thread for Matt Ostlund getting his Miata in GRM?
Maybe a new forum?

The 2010 Nissan Motorsports calenders are out and this very SE-R is on the cover and featured as one of the months. The stickers on the car say it is classed PTE.
Pretty cool we got a SR20forums member in the calender!

lol.. My p10 track car is in that calender too... just that we don't have a b13 YET (we will next year.. it will be PTE/ITA car)
but I'll obviously be ordering one since our car is in it!
