Ok, so a friend of mine has a 1991 Mitsu Eclipse GS, the engine aint exactly that great in it. So we were discussing engine upgrades, and he thought a nissan engien would be cool to have in a dsm, let alone very diffrent. So, the question is, how much work would dropping a SR20DE-T in to a FWD Eclipse GS.... and what would we need?

now sorry if this is a stupid idea, but hey just an idea so far.

WHY? DSMs have a nice little 2.0L of their own! Why not just go w/ that? Makes no sense to me! Unless you want to throw money away of course... in that case, PM me, I'll send you my address!!! :D

throw that idea right out the window and quick, just put in a 6 bolt turbo4g63, its also a great motor and can make serious power.

Exactly ...get a 4g63 ..from the FWD GST ...it should bolt right in...will prolly cost next to nothing (I remember a friend with a Galant VR4 getting a block for like 600$)
