The car that i'm looking at already has an air-intake on it, but it still has the KA engine in there. would this air intake work with an SR20DET? i feel pretty sure that it wouldn't, but i thought i'd ask anyway.

If you are talking about putting a KA intake into an AWD DET than your answer is a defnite NO. Thorttle bodies are in completely different positions. Take a look at the 2 engine bays and it quite obivous. If you are thinking about putting onto a RWD DET my answer is still no, because you wouldn't need it, being that the piping from the throttle body should go to the intercooler, unless you plan on going all motor with the DET ;)
