Is a bump to 75 shot really worth the difference on a single wet fogger setup??? I've heard that this is the MAX on a stock fuel pump(car has 75k now)....would it be worth the risk to goto a 75 jetting or should I get a 255 first?? Or would I be just smarter investing my money in other NA stuff(pulleys/cams next)...FWIW This is mainly a street car I wont go higher than 100 shot *** of traction limitations and thats with a progressive controller.

Opinions would be appreciated

I've heard you should and shouldn't. For $100 its a pretty nice safety measure :)

Tons of people get theirs here, really cheap:

Yeah if i goto 75...the pump will be mandatory I suppose. Do you have your timing retard for that 75 shot?? I really need a MSD digital 6.....mhmmm?

Set your timing to stock on the 75 shot, your stock pump will work fine.

What he said..........all i had was a 91 intake cam, greddy exhaust, FPR, and my beloved ACT 6-puck clutch. My shit dipped for the mods it had......sure as hell surprised many people.

My timing is already at stock....I was contemplating the 75 shot just for $hits and giggles ....hope i could run flat 14.0's with I/H/E. Possible with good 60's i'm sure...Might get the pump just in case though. Its only 100 bucks

Kyle if you bump up to a 75 shot you will feel a difference. If your car responds well you could have a 13 second car. I ran a 14.1 at 102 mph with a 50 shot. My mods at that time were I/H/E on a JDM motor. Becareful with the timming. I would retard the car a bit to be on the safe time. Hearing KAAAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOM would suck. Just my .02. You can get by with the stock fuel pump on a 75 shot. DO NOT go over a 75 shot!

The stock fuel pump will hold 75 easy....

and believe it or not Iv got 2 friends one with a 200sx and an other with a classic runing 100hp on NOS with stock everything exept filter and exhaust. and no problems at all just retard your car to 12-13 degrees and you will be fine. oh and buy cold spark plugs :)

but me...im going 75 soon
then ill buy a 255 FP

if you want to enjoy the N/A and Nitrous worlds with out any stop and adjust buy a MSD retarder...all i can say IT RULES! hehe

you be crouisn @ 19* and when you switch it will throw you back to 14 or whatever you want. :D

too, bad i can't go to a 75 shot. i need a clutch, my best time is in the sig,w/ a 2.1 60 foot. i got hella lucky cause i can't match that.
my clutch is going out. the last time i went to the track i ran 14.5's and the clutch going out w/ every shift. my times just got slower all night.

i tried to run NA w/ the timing turned up to 19.
but i did two 16.0's and just turned the bottle on:D
i supsect it is the clutch because w/ my mods for NA i should be well into the 15.0's
