Just to confirm you have a 91-93 se-r, correct?

OK, first off there have been no major problems with anyone's installs
so far. You will need a good selection of metric sockets (10-24mm),
combination wrenches and various extensions. You need a large drip pan
or cardboard because power steering fluid may be messy. Jack and jack
stands.

If you don't feel comfortable doing this please get help!

Loosen alternator and PS tensioners and remove belts. Loosen hoses on PS
reservoir and drain fluid into a container. Remove PS reservoir, Finned
cooler (not all se-r's have this), Air bleeder assembly (attached to the
pass. side shock tower). Making sure that car is properly placed on jack
stands get under car and remove the main bolt holding the PS pump
brackets. Remove the in and out lines from the PS pump. You will be
removing the pump and both brackets as a complete unit. There may be a
small bracket attached to the intake manifold that may be in the way of
the main PS bolt, if so remove it (I never put it back in). You will
have to rotate and move the ps assembly around to get it past the
steering rack and out of the car.

Once removed from the car you will unbolt the 2 brackets from the PS
pump and attach them to the aluminum block using the new bolts provided.
You will reuse the "longest" of these ps bolts but a new lock washer is
provided for it. You may need to remove the main pulley nut and loosen
the bolt to get the 3 hole bracket on. Tighten main pulley bolt. Tighten
mail pulley nut. Attach 2 hole bracket.

You may want to use this time to clean up your engine bay a little.

You will want to take care of the steering rack before installing the
eliminator. Look at the picture of the steering rack line junction. You
will be plugging the 2 lines that are pointing towards "11 o'clock", the
2 lines on the right can stay as they are. Loosen the front line at the
steering junction (front most of the 11 o'clock lines), for the other
line simply cut the rubber hose (leave a couple of inches because you
will plug this line with a bolt later). Once both lines are (open) turn
the steering wheel full left and full right to pump out excess fluid.
You can now plug the rubber line with a bolt shoved in the end and then
use a clamp to secure it (you should have left over bolts and clamps to
use). For the other line use the bolt from the PS pump (in or out line)
to plug the hole in the steering rack (make sure the threads fit before
screwing in the bolt)! You have a choice at this point, you can cut the
metal PS lines to the pump (saves time but lines are expensive if you
ever need them again) or you can fight them out of the car (you will
probably need a helper if you want to save the lines).

Installing the eliminator in the car is the reverse of removal. Make
sure to properly tighten both belts. There should be enough adjustment
in the PS tensioner because you have stock pulleys (not under drive
pulleys). If there is not enough adjustment you will need a slightly
smaller belt from the auto parts store (everyone with with the kit using
stock pulleys have not needed a new belt).
