Going with my friend up to Helen for the day... I was going 50 (speed is 45 mph) and a Toyota Sequoya(i think) takes a left not 20 feet in front of me....I slam on the breaks, next thing i know i am watching my windshield shatter, airbags fo off. I get out of the car to see the fornt of my cam smashed in, passenged side bent to hell. frame bent up. Me andm y friend walked away with scrathes thank god, but the car has gonet o hell. Done vernting.

Damn kid, you're the second one to post a totalled car today. Sorry to hear it, and glad you're ok. My wife had a similar situation happen when a clueless driver in a Ford Expedition make a left turn in front of her.

That really sucks. I assume the other guys insurance is covering it? Just yesterday Someone almost hit me. I was traveling south on 81 and was passing this saturn. I was in the left lane saturn in the right. I noticed the saturn was getting close to me as I was passing him. After I passed him he kept getting closer to the left lane and just drifted into it. He then continued to the left and slammed into the guardrail. They hit it pretty hard too. I figure they probably feel asleep. Im just glad he didnt hit my car. The guy was pretty lucky though that there was a guard rail and he didnt fly of the side of the road into a tree or something.

good thing you are safe i know you are pissed about the car but hey those can be replaced, your lucky you only had scratches. did the police arrive on the scene and were tickets issued to the suv driver? good luck with everything man.

damn, the nesxt day is painful! But yeah, im glad that everythign is ok, police showed up, i ddint get anything so im pretty sure he got the tickets, wasn't my fault so he sure as hell should have (thank god for the 20 witnesses) I will be staying in the sr20de camp, as long as i can findm e another se-r for sale (pref a 95-97 200sx, just in case anyone knows of one for sale). All i really had done was the audio, which i spent two hours ripping out while in the impound lot yesterday, otherwise i would sell the parts. I will have pics prob by the end of the night.

This situation has happened to both me and a good friend both our classics where totalled in the same year,
i bought another classic the next day and he bought a 200SX SE-R.

you can do a buy back of your car from the insurance company (around $400 guesstimate) which they can decuct from the amount owed you. You can make quite a good amount by parting the car out and selling piece by piece depending on the overall condition.

yeah..that sucks..i hope it turns out okay. 99% of the time you get the ticket when you are behind. following to close is a pain.
i got in a 3 car bumper tap a month after having my car. i was in the middle. two other cars went unscathed..i have two cracked bumpers and a dented quarter.

yeah, it reall sux. It was just so stupid of that person who took the left seeing i was commign towards him, i mean i was 20 ft away. Oh well, everyone involved is ok, that is what matters.
