i cut the black hose connecting the BPT and EGR like a week ago, could this be the reason i got 21 mpg this tank? (instead of the normal 26-27)???:mad:

My EGR tube that used to go into the air intake is gone now because I have a Place Racing cold air intake on my car.

I've owned 3 SE-R's and my average mileage is probably 20mpg. I don't know how people get any higher. I don't drive the living piss out of my car by any means. I don't really care, I just ponder how people get anything higher. I got 28mpg out of 2 tanks on my current SE-R, then it went to crap again.

If you cut that the EGR valve will no longer function, I dont know how that effects your mileage. If I do all highway driving, I get 35 mpg.
