ok at idle it's quiet
when warming up (first starting) it will back fire when i take my foot off the pedal even with light pressure
over all it's louder when i accelerate
it will also occasionally backfire when i shift hard

now i have a custom exhaust that had a crack but they fixed that crack. could there be another? and could i tell the difference without taking it to a shop?

i just am trying to figure out if i need a flex pipe or a better exhaust

with the car running go undernewath and listen and feel for any leaks. best bet if your unsure. doesnt sound like it how you explained it onyx, you usually hear a exhaust leak at idle best. the overall sound of the car sounds louder
