Just put these on my b14 today.. 11.8 rotors with mounting brackets to be used with ad22vf 's (thanks to chrisbakalah for the kit) ! My only concern is I had to save the calipers down about 3-4mm on the front knuckle part of the caliper could this make the caliper weaker ? I have seen people do this before just don't trust it ! Anyways here some pic's they stop soo much better !!!

One more thing does it matter witch way the slots on the rotors point ?

also i have the slotted rotors also & my fronts & my rears face different ways...i couldnt figure out which is right so i did the oppisite , so i know @ least one set is right :smile:

Well the larger rotors do give you more thermal mass to absorb heat from the brake pads iirc. I think I remember reading something about moving the pad surface further out changes the mechanical advantage which changes the forces that are resisting the turning rotor or something too.

From what fast brakes say it gives more brake tourque . I already have stainless lines and altima master cyl The kit is very simple that is if you have rims to clear the calipers ! I like the way they grab harder and don't fade allthough I have not had a chance to realy brake them in yet . I think its money well spent ! cost is about $290 with bolts and brackets just need the ad22's so nobody knows the best way to face the rotors ?I know the slots are ment to vent the gases out so I think thats how I have it set up :biggthump

Do the 11" with 4 piston kits fit under 15" rims?

the slots do not matter which way they are faced, what matters are the fins on the inside. If the inside fins are slanted towards a certain direction then the rotors need to be faced that way. ( the direction of the car while going forward) ////////////// if the fins on the inside are directly up and down then it doesn't matter which way you have your rotors set.

I would say the brake fade is reduced ! Like I said it is worth the money ! I am also running stainless lines and yes it's a 96 altima se m/c so that helps with peddle feel .Now these wont be as strong as the willwood kit with the 4/6 piston set up but it save you a few coins if your on a budget ! I have cheap ceramic pads in there now but i might go with a more agressive pad as I plan a doing some auto x .. :tongue:

I can get you mesurement from center out to the face of the caliper and then you can see if that will fit a b14 wheel ? :biggthump

Im going to be going with some better pads, the Wagner pads are quiet and last long, but they dont grip like the pads I had last.( wish i could remember what they are)
but Im liking the MC and 11.8" upgrades....

This is true with this particular setup because the rotor surface is larger than the contact patch of the pad. The larger rotor can take more heat and prevent fading but moving the pad toward the outer edge of the rotor without fully covering the surface (using the NX caliper) requires more torque to overcome the roatation compared to its previous rotation (basic mechanics/rotor dynamics). Unless youre gonna get the Wilwood calipers to run the larger pads youre really not much better off other than those are really nice rotors and should hold up to more abuse than oem ones. I have 11" wilwood kit on my turbo NX w/ the Altima MC. Ive had it for a very very very long time and dont really care for more. I thought about doing the 6 POT kit, but I dont think I would benefit that much more...

Also the grinding required to fit this will not weaken the caliper if its done properly. NX Calipers are pretty beefy.
