ok here's my perdicament, I know that our recirculation valves need to be run back into the piping after the maf but if you don't hook it up, besides running a little rich at every shift, what sound does this make any at all...sorry to be ricey but I want to psssht....you know what I mean...thanks for reading this and replying

The stock recirc valve actually leaks a little when idle, so assuming you could get it to idle properly in the first place, it's going to be leaking air into the atmosphere.

I had a S-AFC and still couldn't get it to run well when venting and idling. It doesn't make that great a sound anyway.

HKS SSQV on the other hand.....

It sounds cool as hell, but it's not good for your engine. It's been said that running rich in between shifts can actually lead to carbon buildup, which could lead to a premature DET death

well for the leaking it came with a gasket and I hooked it up through a t from the throttle body so I figure when Im boosting the pressure will help keep it sealed???

well I hope it sounds pretty cool, I mean Im not expecting a blitz sound but maybe some sort of phssst

what type of sound does it make ITR_KILLR

I know 1G stock DSM BOV's are loud and they crush them a little
to hold alot of boost. Ive seen Stock BOVs on many decent HP
cars and they sound good too.. I see alot of Z's and other cars
with them venting to the atmosphere that came with MAF's.. How
do they do it?

Going with an aftermarket ECU like haltech, and switching to a MAP sensor is I think the only way to do it correctly? Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

well you are right N13 like the GReddy Emanage, adds a MAP sensor but still uses the maf just for fun I don't know why yet, but ass for running a little rich during shifts I doubt it does that much damage except maybe cool my engine a little better and kill my O2 sensor quicker....anybody want to add anything to whatever I talked about, maybe I have no Idea what Im talking about but this is what I think....
