Anyone interested in florida interested in getting beams bent? I didn't think there was a chance of organizing something like this in florida until I saw how many B15's showed up at the orlando meet. Steve (the beam bending guru) will fly out if we get at least 6 people paid. I don't know all of the details but according to this thread (http://www.sr20forum.com/chassis-suspension/253747-rear-beam-bending-0-toe.html) it would be about $267 per person if there were 6 people. The price would probably go down if more people were interested. I'll start the list:

So is there any interest? I would be willing to drive anywhere in florida to get this done, but I would imagine somewhere in the orlando area would be best.

We have a rent by the hour bay with a lift that we could get for about 10 an hour in Orlando.

Definitely, B14's have more rear toe-in than p11s and b15s.

Steve has said having a lift would be nice. I don't want to start talking about a location until we get more interest, but that seems to be a good option.

Alright you can put me on the list. I have been wanting to get this done since I got my 200. I miss the razor sharp handling of the ole B13. But I would definitely be down to drive pretty much anywhere in Florida to get this done.

I'm interested... I was planning on trying to setup something for next spring, but I could get it done earlier if someone else wants to organize the party.

What I've gathered over the years is that we need to have the money paid in full up front so we can get the plane tickets and hotel reservations setup. Too many people at past parties have said "sure" and then not shown up leaving the organizer (and Steve) to have to come up with funds out of their own pocket.

$300ish is cheap for what this mod does - especially since you can't simply buy and install it.

I think we can all agree that Orlando is probably the place to do it. Plane tickets are the cheapest coming into Orlando, and hotel costs will be minimal. Additionally, I know a guy that could supply a shop/lift for really cheap. He has a dyno as well and does two pulls for $50 or a cheap hourly rate. We could dyno as well.

I am down for doing this as well, but there has to be enough people involved.

I believe most of the money (maybe all of it) has to come up front to help cover the cost of a plane ticket, hotel room, etc.

if this was $100 it would be worth it but over $250 is alot. I did mine at my bodyshop on the wheel alignment machine it took less then a hr. it does help out a decent amount with the handleing but not 250 plus dollars amount.

Seems like there is a little bit of interest. If someone wants to take this over I still definitely would like to get it done, but I am pretty busy with school right now. I think if we got this up on the b15 boards we could make it happen.
