BUYER BEWARE
I thought he seemed like a cool guy,I even sent a couple extra bucks for the paypal fees since he was working with me on the price....I was wrong,I guess:rolleyes:

Just wanted to let everyone know that this guy has been paid 2 weeks ago.(July 28th)I have not heard anything from the seller since.:squint:
No tracking,no reply whatsoever to multiple PM and email attempts.Member was online here yesterday,so I guess I am being ignored.
I guess I will have to deal with Paypal on this now:(

Here is a link to the 4 sale thread. He did have some feedback good here, but I will be sure to fix that if I dont hear something soon.
I am really getting tired of these a-holes trying to rip people off.I dont have time to be chasing losers or waiting on paypals help.
This will be the 3rd time in less than a year for me!!

Thanks guys, maybe this thread will help.(or Chriscar 's pm)

I have been trying to only deal with well known members.I have passed up on some good deals, and parts I wanted because the members are too new or have no posts other than for sale.

This guy at least had good feedback, although not a long time member.

While two weeks isn't tragically long, the thing that concerns me is he HAS been on the forum recently, and he didn't reply to your PM's.

Hopefully that will change soon. Remember, you only have a short amount of time to open a PayPal claim (IIRC, it's 45 days).

only other POSSIBLE issue with NOT responding to PM is IF he was on his phone instead of computer.. I know I can't look at my PMs very easily on my bberry..

but 2 weeks would have me concerned as well..

Point taken,thanks:biggthump
I am not usually one to jump to conclusions.I understand being busy,or whatever.
What concerns me is that I have not heard anything at all since paying.
At least tell me you got the money,or tracking,or I forgot,or whatever:confused:

I really dont need the part fast,my car doesnt have a motor yet.Thats not the issue...I just thought I should have heard something by now.

I have filed a claim with Paypal now ,so we will see.

I remember you...Have you installed the DET yet?
Funny ,I was just busting my friends nuts about that a coule days ago, because he never saw that engine before you bought it off him. I still have the other det block you originally came out here for, too.

I am hoping the seller will see this thread and explain,or just send me my money back.If not selling anything else could be difficult for him.

wow I just noticed all the people who posted above have 100% feedback, and most have alot of transaction...this has become a "good sellers/buyers list" LOL

lol.. yeah, I pride myself on selling only good stuff and shipping ASAP and keeping communications very open.. there are always things that can happen (death in family, internet down, etc.) and even when that type of thing has happened to me, I STILL try to make sure I get at least a message to whoever I sold to and offer a refund 100% because I can't ship as fast as I usually do, etc.

everyone has their own style but the reason people buy from me often is I have the great rep and people know I won't rip them off.

It's sad there are so many who treat sales with such 'not worried about' it attitudes but it only makes my ability to sell stuff that much easier :D

Another tidbit you might find useful, Jay. If you used a credit card to pay with pp, you can also open a claim with them.
Ask me why I know.........
