I was wondering if you run the top mounted intercooler on my G20 will the egr stuff get in the way because i know that the jdm manifold doesn't have all that stuff on the intake manifold...Thanks...

I threw mine on top without no problem except that I'm not using the top mount bracket just put it up there, Its a interheater, unless you have a scoop like me, SUBURU scoops kicks ass, well later hope I helped

Normally with a turboed sr20de, you get rid of the egr, that's more simple.

Yeah i was debating getting rid of the stuff anyways, but i was wondering if it would cause me to fail emissions or throw a cell or anything like that? But if i don't have to i'm not going to...

As you have to reprogram your ECU anyway, I would tell JWT that you get rid of the EGR, because of a way or another, you will fail emissions!

It will hit the hood .... My brothers G20 with the BB SR20DET had the top mount , and with the EGR in place it was ok , but we had to dimple the hood braces and it still would rub a little , and that is with out the fancy plastic cover .....

how badley did you have to dimp the braces was it noticeable from the outside of the engine bay?

You could definitly tell they were dimpled if you looked under the hood , but with the hood closed you coundnt see a thing .... The best way would be to just remove the underhood bracing , that would rid you of the rubbing problem !!! We were gona do that , but we are just going to a front mount when the engine goes back in ....
