im having trouble connecting to my ecu..when i first got it i added a bin and it was working fine

now i try to connect my ecu to my laptop and its not working..the laptop wont even recognize it when i plug it in? im losing my patience i been try for almost 5hrs now..all i want to do is check my check engine light and check maf and tps voltages..anyone have any ideas
