When it comes to brakes, spark plugs, etc, do you head out to the local nissan dealer, do you buy them online, what websites, etc...

nissan dealer ;) i dont like going aftermarket for cap rotor plug's plug wires brakes (unless competition pads)

Wanna relate a story bout the parts counter @ Star Nissan in Niles(?). I have spent a couple hundred dollars there over this past year or two w/ the rebirth of the Classic. I've gotten to know Eric and Jeff somewhat and they have been pretty cool. After a few special orders, they even let me phone those in. Occasionally they'll cut me a discount too. Nothin huge, maybe 10-15%.
I'm in there Fri pickin up some odds and ends (oil filter, i've changed my oil like 2 times since i had that major engine flood) in prep for Sunday's AutoX. I was mentionin it to Eric that i was going and hopin to, ya know, kick some Honda/Subbie ass. I had bought a Cubs hat earlier in the week just to have a base ball hat (my chromin dome needs one to prevent burn & squint headache) but the dog 'ate' it. "How much for the Nissan baseball cap in red, the one w/ the metal Nissan badge on it? Ya know rEprEzENt!" i asked. He looks at the hat, looks at me and goes "No charge." :D

i buy my parts from lcoal dealers too
i tell them i work for a delership and i get a nice 25% or bigger discount

also make sure u call around cause dealers have diffrent prices, fergus nissan has some stuff cheaper than star or mid city

Damn, am I the only one that orders from www.courtesyparts.com. Prices aren't bad and they ship pretty quick, then again I have only ordered from them one time.

na i have ordered tons of stuff from courtesyparts.com for my maxima and now the sentra. always quick to get here and good prices.

I also order from Courtesy.
One time they sent the wrong parts, but sent the correct parts immediately after I called them.
