ok, ive noticed this happen quite a bit. more often than not. only today, it really became an issue as i was looking for specific info i had posted about months ago. i started the thread and know specific search words to use to find it. i NEEDED the info in that thread today and couldnt find it. A: search keeps telling me sorry, no matches found....and B: theres pages of threads missing. in the turbo section currently it only shows 3 pages of threads! that is such BS! we alllllll know there are more than that. so not only could i not find the thread searching the pages of the turbo section, but i could not find it via searching! WTF! ive noticed this happening alot, but never did it effect me till today enough i needed to post about it. whats the problem? and fix it! i still need that info dammit!!!

take this section for example. it says there are 103 threads in the server and forum info section.....but its only showing 2 threads....this one and one other. what gives!!!!!!!!!

Check this...under "Display options" it says "Sorted By" "Sort Order" and "From The."

Next to "From The" change it to beginning, and click the button "show threads."

That will explain thread count vs. the thread shown.

i dont know wth what you are talking about. i went to the options and saw nothing of what you speak. although i did find the options to show all threads. i found my thread that way by scrolling page by page. not only does my thread have the search word i was using in the title, but the thread is loaded with that specific word. so why when i search are there no results!?!

I know what your talking about because there are the threads that I posted in 04 that I wanted to referance and I did not see them as well.

Realize that Off Topic is not indexed, and like Swiss said, there's a minimum keyword length of three characters, except some important exceptions which we've set up like VE, N1, S4. Also words with punctuation in them like A/F may not index.
