Hey People,I was just wondering what all of you who have had thier cars on a Dyno paid per run? Did you rent them by the hour or pay per pull? What is the going rate for this.Any input would be great. Thanks,

nice that is what i like to see, you got that thing ripping finally .Ok we have a dyno here he charges 300 to tune your car or 100 an hour and he said that is about 2-3 runs becuse that let your car cool off between runs.I think he is over priced

There has been a thread about this before. But it varies from place to place. There was a dyno day In Orlando, FL, and it cost $25 for 2 pulls, and $5 for each additional pull. I paid $50 for 2 pulls in Tallahassee.

That is pretty common here also. I paid 100 for 1 hour and I shared it with a friend. So we both paid 50.

Ok guys, Thanks for the feed back.I need to know pricing because I am thinking of purchasing a dyno along with a friend of mine for his shop.He has been in business for 12 years and has a very busy place on his hands. He has been on me for sometime to get something rolling to capture a piece of the sport compact market. I told him I thought we needed to get a dyno and start running cars as a bonus to selling parts and service.I just wanted to know pricing so I had an idea of what we can realisticaly charge for these runs.Keep em coming in I would like more feedback. The idea is to give a befor and after dyno with any parts order over a specific dollar amount. This should help with the sale and instalation of these parts .If you dont buy the parts from us then you just get charged a little bit more for the pull. And of course a discount for all sr20 forum members. This is just a dream right now but a very realistic one so i will keep everyone posted. And my god r these things expensive or what??HAA HAAA!

APG Performance by Chicago charges $50 for 2 pulls. I think that is about typical.
