hello guys
I've buy a complete sr16ve motor a jdm
i would like to put this on my sentra
I know than the transmissions of the sentra se 00-01 sr20de is bolt-on on the sr16/20ve block
My questions is , can i take the driveaxles/ cv axles on the sentra se sr20de and put this on my sr16ve transmissions
thanks a lot guys for your service

Why would you want to put a sr16 in a heavy b15? You need turbo torque if you're going to spend all of that money and time.

To put that motor in their you'd need:
a different harness
different ecu
different tranny and mounts
possibly different spindles and cv axles
a bunch of sensors
clutch flywheel
a lot of time without having a car to drive, hope you have a spare

There was a previous post on this earlier this week about a b14. Everyone has agreed that it is cheaper to keep the car you have now and search for a car that already has an sr20 in it. I see se-rs on here all the time from 1000 to 3000.

i have all that
i have complet ecu and wiring
clutch kit and flywheel
sr16ve transmissions
all the sensor and all the piece around that
i have a new complete motor with the starter and alternator
my question is ,the cardan on the sentra sr20de is bolt-on on the tranny of my sr16

why i've buy a new motor ,because i've blown my head gasket and my car could start difficutly and i have all rebuilt the body. a body kit, new suspension ,new recaro seat and all you could imagine ...

i dont have any picture of the cardan but i know than the tranny of the sr20de is bolt-on with the block of my sr16ve
can i put the cardan of the sr20de in my ve tranny

and the sr16 is not a slowly motor
he have high compression piston *** good cams and he spin a 8300 rpm

Please explain cardan ?
Reading the posts above I am not the only one having difficulty understanding what this is.
Do you mean the axle assembly with the CV's
you need the axle that fits your SR transmission, there are different axles, to my knowledge the SR20DE has LSD and non-LSD axles ( drivers side different only ?)
I don't know about differences for the VE transmission.

yes I know this, hence my guess at the question.

and a cardan joint is not a CV joint, and I don't think you will find one on a modern FWD car.

I am trying to understand sr16neoVVL's question.

I think I hit reply right as you posted your edit, then I didn't notice your changes... :)

BTW I had an N16 with a 1.6 Auto in Singapore, and I am sure an SR16VE would have been a huge upgrade.
