Hello. I've been turned to the "dark side" and have a bit of a Mazda fetish so one of the Nissan's has to go. If you have any questions or need additional pics, please feel free to post or PM me and I'll respond as soon as I can. Thanks!
Asking $2,500
History: I purchased the car on 9/15/2003 with 43,837 miles. The car was then used primarily by my wife for her 40 mile (each way) commute back and forth to work. It was also used as the "family car" for several trips to Disney World (from N.C.) Our maintenance has included brake replacement, the struts (with KYB OEM replacements), oil changes, tune-up ups including cap/rotor/plugs/air filters, etc. As you can see from the pictures the paint is starting to oxidize on the roof in two fist-sized areas and the clear coat is flaking from the spoiler on the trunk. There are also some nicks in the paint on the hood from all the highway driving. It is stock except for the rear strut tower brace (pictured). Everything works, including the cruise, air conditioning, factory radio, etc.
The interior is in pretty good shape considering the age/mileage. The main faults are the covering coming off of both sun-visors due to the elastic CD holders that my wife had on them. One of the visors is removed in the picture but it is now re-installed. The cruise control on/off button in the dash has the tiny clear plastic portion of it broken.
Mechanically, the only issue is a weird noise when cranking the vehicle which I believe is the starter (which is still the original). I can't recall any other mechanical issues with the car. It still pulls strong and is still quite reliable. It has a smooth idle.
The only reason it is being sold is because my wife has been waiting (rather impatiently I might add) for the 2010 MS3 to hit the market. Now that we've purchased one, it's tough to juggle 4 cars in the driveway.
