Or turned in a little early and a little too much steering along with lack of throttle. I can relate.

Sorry its longer than need be, jump to about 4:30 if you want to see the main point, too quick on the steering, brain fart driving the dry line not the wet line, freakin huge puddle in turn 10 on the far left. Usually get on the throttle right at the apex . Did them all (wrong). Predictable results

Thanks for posting this. It helps take the sting out of my "moment" knowing that it happens to more experienced drivers and it's not just a noob move.

I getting better with every lap. I run film every session with the camera focused on me. When I watch it later, I see all the things I missed.

with any luck, we will be joining the PTE Greatlakes NASA group in 2010 after this winter and our 94 b13 build!!!

thanks for sharing!!!!!

Congrats:biggthump

I'd love to be in there myself, takes time to get everything aligned. Got a great tow rig, no trailer. Have 2 B13's, neither legal or setup for PTE.

Significant effort left, so I keep running TT's :)

EMRA has some lower-key (compared to NASA) Sprint and Enduro racing which may be also a possibility next season, but this year here is about 8 weeks from being over. :(

I'll put a camera on the bar later either when I get my roll bar or just make a headset mount. I had this fantastically strong 6-cup mount made for outside the car, so all my vids for now are first person perspective from inside the window.

Maybe it's best I don't see myself for now ;) It's hard enough keeping the language clean on the vids I post. Sunday @Pocono North TT, I came in too hot to the banked track entrance and kicked out the rear end, my car bleeding speed like crazy, said something really rude but unintelligible on the video, ruined my time for that lap.

Next lap (2 of 2 for time) I came in clean but also very fast. The guy in staging told me I cleared the wall on my outside by about 6 inches or so. I would love to see a vid of that. I mean 6 inches, 6 feet, both work out the same but one was a lot faster - 2 seconds faster, most of it there due to the extra speed I carried down the banked section and into the first turn.

I think that vid is on the TT thread. It's all good fun :biggthump
